2-DAY LEVEL 2 TRAINING: Body Positioning

REGISTER

DESCRIPTION

This unique training makes the difference between a good and a perfect fit for the individual cyclist and his goal.

OBJECTIVE

After training:
- You understand the power play that plays a role during cycling...
- You would be able to adjust the height of the saddle perfectly with a margin of 2 to 5 mm.
- You understand the effect of the rear position of the saddle and you would be able to adjust it very precisely taking into account the physical possibilities and the speed of the cyclist.
- You will learn how to adjust the position of the bike according to the terrain (mountains, level, etc ...).
- You will learn how to place the cleats under the foot in the perfect place, taking into account the way of cycling and the objectives.
- Can you find the steering position where the cyclist works optimally?
- You can find the range of handlebar height that suits the cyclist
- Understand where in the range you have the best seating position, depending on the objectives of the cyclist/cyclist.
- Understand the effect of crank length on the quality of movement
- You can give advice based on the optimum crank length.
- In short, you can make a perfect fit to the individual and his or her goals based on this training.

CONTENT

- Preparation of a dynamic bikefit, assembly of the bike on the trainer, assembly of the waistline voice, etc...
- Thorough theoretical training on the play of forces on the cyclist and on the important muscle groups for cycling
- Standard agenda and reasons for departing from it
- Practical tests on the bicycle to explain certain principles
- Explain the practical tests next to the bicycle on some principles
- Many of the practices with the processes through examples they correspond to

TEACHERS

• Tony Corke
• Joffrey Deguerce
• Niels Heuvelman

APPROACH

- The training is very practical. The theoretical part takes about 55% of the time.
- During the training, participants will use their own bikes, applying the process learned.
- A very proactive attitude is expected from all participants, the final adjustments are made by the participants independently (the teacher only supervises).
- During the training, we consciously work with relatively little technology in order to really understand the basic principles.
- During the training, technology (video, motion capture, saddle print, etc, ...) is regularly used to support / illustrate.
- The training is completely neutral and is not linked to the technology of certain brands. We use technology from brands that are also distributed by Cyclefit, so that the student can also become familiar with these products.
